Centro Mexicano de Lengua y Cultura de San Miguel is housed in a pretty, colonial building of San Miguel de Allende. The school is within easy walking distance of the main square and numerous restaurants, cafes, shops and banks. Seven well-equipped classrooms surround the central patio which features flowering plants and a fountain. The patio serves not only as a forum for language and conversation classes, but also as a popular meeting place for students and teachers.

History

Centro Mexicano was established in 1990 by a group of experienced language teachers. Their main objective was to create a language school that would serve as a multicultural and multilingual center for the community. In addition to Spanish, Centro Mexicano teaches English, French and Italian classes. The flexible language programs and innovative activities, including the weekly Spanish and English conversation clubs, the children's programs, and the holiday celebrations, reflect the school's commitment to further the understanding of Mexican culture, and to bring together children and adults from different cultures.

Something Special

Centro Mexicano de Lengua y Cultura de San Miguel is a small community oriented language school which prides itself on its dedicated and friendly staff.

The teachers, most of whom are bilingual, are very accommodating - designing specialized language programs for individuals and groups, organizing cultural festivities for the school and community, assisting students with academic and personal problems, and arranging reasonably priced daycare for students with young children.
